RIDE TO REMEMBER: The Red Knights NS Chapter 1 motorcycle club will be hosting a 9/11 Memorial ride on Sunday Sept 11, at Dartmouth Crossing behind Pro Hockey Life at the Empire Theatre end of the park. Registration will start at 11:00 AM at the parking lot next to the cinemas and this year there will be a BBQ, a show and shine (no prizes, just bragging r...ights). There is NO CHARGE for this ride; however a voluntary donation will be appreciated. Anyone who donates $5.00 or more will get a special edition memorial pin (while quantities last). This ride is open to anyone; you don’t have to be a member of a specific club or group. All proceeds of this ride go to the Canadian Fallen Firefighters

Bikers In Need’s Top 15 Safety Tips
1.Good training is better than good luck. Take a class and/or practice your skills. Don’t depend on being lucky to survive.
2.Don’t drink and ride. Even one drink can affect your riding ability.
3.Don’t do drugs and ride. Even some prescription drugs can impair your riding ability.
4.Don’t ride when fatigued. Fatigue can be just as dangerous when riding as alcohol and drugs.
5.Wear all of your protective gear. When you fall, you will be glad you had it on.
6.Maintain your motorcycle. Breakdowns can be costly and dangerous.
7.Get a bike that you can handle and fits you. Start small and work your way up in size as your skill and riding ability improve.
8.Practice your skills whenever you can. Find a vacant lot and work on your skills so they are second nature.
9.Learn to ride on all types of roads and conditions. It will rain sometime in your riding career so be prepared for it. Gravel, sand, rain, grooved concrete, and blacktop all are different.
10.Ride at your own skill and comfort level. Don’t take challenges or be pushed by others to ride above your level. That includes your husband! And your friends!
11.Don’t challenge anything with more wheels than you. Bigger always wins.
12.Always leave yourself an out. Try to anticipate what could happen and be prepared for your escape.
13.Don’t be afraid to slow down when you are in doubt. It is better to go slow than go down.
14.When approaching an intersection look left, right, left. Remember the vehicle coming from your left will hit you first.
15.Be Visible, see and be seen. There is no such thing as a safe intersection, don’t take them for granted.

We had some great weather at the Crusaders Rally. There was a Poker Run, Biker Games, Pig Roast, two great bands and Chris and Tim the dancing machines. There was some late hoooos and some high fives....lol
Greg won the slow race and we all won some great prizes.

PEI Trip

The Road Crew had a great time touring a small part of PEI. We could have stayed another three days easily. We went to Red Rock, Point Prim Light house and Panmure island lighthouse. Chris had to keep the girls in line.....see pic. Saturday after a great day riding we cranked up the bbq, played some washer toss and then lit a bonfire.

1. The only good view of a thunderstorm is in your rear view mirror.
2. Four wheels move the body; two wheels move the soul.
3. I'd rather be riding my motorcycle and thinking about God, than sitting in church thinking about my bike.
4. Life may begin at 30, but it doesn't get real interesting until about 75 mph.
5. Midnight bugs taste just as bad as Noon time bugs.
6. Sometimes it takes a whole tank full of gas before you can think straight.
7. A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
8. Young riders pick a destination and go; old riders pick a direction and go.
9. When you're riding lead, don't spit.
10. Catching a yellow jacket in your shirt at 75 mph can double your vocabulary.
11. If you can't get it going with bungee cords and duct tape, it's serious.
12. Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.
13. (Bonus) I've never seen a Motorcycle parked in front of a psychiatrist's office

He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table.He sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Bob looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotless, clean. So is the rest of the house.He takes the aspirins and notices a note on the table: "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you."So he goes to the kitchen, and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating.Bob asks, "Son, what happened last night?"His son says, "Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and delirious, broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door."Confused, Badass Bob asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?"His son replies, "Oh, that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you said, "Lady, leave me alone, I'm married'!"

We are not an organized motorcycle club, we have no meeting, we have no clubhouse, and we have no fees.

We are a crew of people who love to “Ride” there is men and women in the Crew and what you ride is not important. We are just normal people who love the life style. We support many clubs, charities and rides and have met many great people in our ventures.
